1910.23(a)(3)(i) Hinged floor opening cover of standard strength and construction equipped with standard railings or permanently attached thereto so as to leave only one exposed side. When the opening is not in use, the cover shall be closed or the exposed side shall be guarded at both top and intermediate positions by removable standard railings.

In most situations, OSHA (Std. 29 CFR 1910.23) requires guardrail protection on the exposed sides of openings in roofs and floors.

Kwik-Rail(Reference #55)
KwikRail is a safety handrail system that is easy to assemble and can be easily installed on site. It is a metal handrail and uses handrail brackets and handrail fittings to erect. The Kwik-Rail Safety Railing is an economically priced handrail system that is easily assembled with just a hex key. Create a tough and durable barrier in just minutes with no welding. The cross members come standard in 6' lengths that give you a lower cost per foot. If 6' is too long for your needs, simply cut the cross members to size. The metal handrail railing is 42" tall. Kwik-Stand(Reference #63)
A PORTABLE WARNING/ BARRIER SYSTEM

The Kwik-Stand is a hand carried warning line system. The self contained design provides for quick set up and removal with no chance of lost parts. The Securing Pin is attached to the stanchion with a lanyard so you will no longer be looking for lost pins. The unique spindle mount system gives it rigidity when in use. The handle makes it easy for transporting and hoisting. The Kwik- Stand comes standard with a tough powder coat finish.

The Kwik-Stand has a hole at each end of the support bars. Use for the following:

Pararail(Reference #56)
Employees and Contractors sometimes need complete access to the leading edge of a roof even when there is a parapet in place. Roof Fall Protection is a major concern when these issues arise. When there is not an 'active' Fall Protection Equipment present, BlueWater Mfg. developed the ParaRail just for that need. The ParaRail enables users to meet OSHA Regulations for leading edge roof top safety and fall protection safety with a portable guardrail system. You can use the ParaRail System as a fall protection equipment devise. It can be a permanent fall protection devise or use it as a portable roof railing and move it to different locations. Safety Strip Foam Padding(Reference #65)
The Bright Safety Yellow Foam Strips (also available with Black Stripes) identify and cushion bump points on low clearances, stairways, racking, machinery, lift equipment, "short" doorways, pipes, ductwork or any condition that needs Safety/Caution signage with an additional need for padding or cushioning. It's self adhesive backing bonds to numerous surfaces including painted and bare metal, wood, plastic, masonry, concrete, brick, tile, wallboard, fiber, and fabric for use in a variety of temperature conditions. The material can be painted and is very pliable. It is also suitable for indoor/outdoor service and UL rated.

The easy to apply, pressure-sensitive adhesive is a 5 mil unsupported, permanent acrylic film that gives you the ULTIMATE bond. Initial tack is low enough to permit some re-positioning. Safety-Strip has excellent shear and cohesive strength. Please note that a clean surface will improve the bond.
